About the event

The Makings of B and In The City Destinations presents our annual Family & Friends Cruise to The Bahamas!

Are you looking for an affordable and quick getaway with you and your little one? Well, our Family & Friends Cruise to The Bahamas has you covered! All ages are welcomed, even if you do not have kids or not! We will explore the culture by enjoying the food, drinks, and adventure-filled excursions, create and connect with others, which is always the ultimate goal for any of my events. Please keep in mind this is not limited to only mothers and children, anyone is invited to attend, but all rules apply for all parties involved.

Deposits are currently $100 per person, and will increase over time.  All Final Payments for your room are due Friday, April 5, 2024.

AUTO-PAY IS OPTIONAL, BUT NOT REQUIRED. BY COMPLETING YOUR DEPOSIT, YOU ARE IN AGREEANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY OF MAKING YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS ON TIME. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN LATE FEES. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND BY MAKING TIMELY PAYMENTS, WE ARE ABLE TO PAY ACTIVITES, HOTELS, AND OTHER FEES ON YOUR BEHALF.

ONCE YOU PAY YOUR DEPOSIT, YOU WILL BE PLACED ON A MONTHLY SCHEDULE (IF AUTO-PAY IS SELECTED) UNTIL YOUR BALANCE IS PAID OFF.  PAYMENTS ARE DRAFTED ON THE 5TH OF EACH MONTH UNTIL FINAL PAYMENT DUE DATE.  FINAL PAYMENTS ARE DUE FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2024, NO EXCEPTIONS! FOR CONCERNS REGARDING PAYMENTS OR TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENTS SOONER THAN THE FINAL DEADLINE, PLEASE CONTACT US.

Entry Requirements:

*Traveling with Minors: When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security.*

Please keep in mind failure to comply with Carnival's Protocols could result in attendee not being able to cruise. No refunds will be allowed.

Itinerary:

  • Monday - Departure from Miami, Florida at 3:30 PM
  • Tuesday - Fun Day At Sea
  • Wednesday  - Arrive to Half Moon Cay, Bahamas 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thursday - Arrive to Nassau, Bahamas 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday - Arrival back to Miami, Florida at 8:00 AM

Covid-19 Protocols:

  • Fully Vaccinated Guest  - there will be no pre-cruise testing for fully vaccinated guests booked on cruises with itineraries 5 days or less.
  • Fully Unvaccinated Guest  - Irrespective of voyage length, in-terminal testing for unvaccinated guests on the day of departure is not required. Except where differences are specified, all unvaccinated guests age 2 and older must provide the negative result of a lab-administered or supervised self-administered PCR or antigen COVID test taken up to 3 days before embarkation.* (For example, if the sailing is on Saturday, the test may be taken any time from Wednesday.)

Payment & Cancellation Policy:

  • All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Travel protection is strongly suggested but not required
  • All payments, returns, refunds, and cancellations are at the discretion of In The City Destinations &The Makings of B, LLC.
  • Payment Plans are available and will be calculated based on your room selection.
  • All Final Payments are due by April 5, 2024, NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • At checkout you have the option to set up auto-pay, if you do not select this option you are still responsible for making timely payments. Failure to do so will result in late fees.
  • PAYMENTS ARE DRAFTED ON THE 5TH OF EACH MONTH UNTIL FINAL PAYMENT DUE DATE.
  • Any changes made after your initial deposit is $50 + per change. This includes name or room changes.
  • Any payments not received by the payment deadline will result in immediate cancellation to your reservation, which is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • If you have to rebook the amount you initially paid may increase.
  • You must ensure that not only you but your roommate is also making timely payments or you will be held responsible for any remaining balances.
  • Gratuities on board are required, pre-paying is an option but not required.
  • If you have any special request or room preferences, please notify us first before booking. This may result in a price change.
  • If you change your mind about adding travel protection after you book your trip, please keep in mind this can only be done up to 72 hours after booking. After this, travel protection can not be added.
